About Us

NOSD Pakistan (National Organization for Sustainable Development) is a non-profit organization committed to creating positive change through education, health, and community empowerment. Founded with the vision of building a more inclusive and sustainable society, we work at the grassroots level to uplift lives, bridge social gaps, and promote long-term development across Pakistan.

Introduction

The National Organization for Sustainable Development (NOSD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering inclusive, community-driven sustainable development in Pakistan. Since its inception in 2013, NOSD has worked tirelessly to uplift marginalized communities through interventions in education, health, WASH, livelihoods, environment, gender equality, and humanitarian assistance.

Our mission is to empower vulnerable populations by enhancing their access to essential services, ensuring dignity, inclusion, and justice for all. We envision a society where every individual can thrive in an environment of equality, respect, and opportunity, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

With a strong focus on women and child-centered development, NOSD adopts participatory, community-led approaches to build resilient societies and sustainable systems. Our initiatives have reached over 13,500 beneficiaries through education, health, and relief programs, trained over 1,250 youth and women in vocational and life skills, and distributed emergency aid during floods, pandemics, and natural disasters.

Through partnerships with local government and international donors, we build community resilience projects and implement programs in education, livelihoods, women empowerment, WASH, and disaster relief. Our notable projects include the Iqra Project, which provided access to primary education for 3,000 out-of-school children, and the Ujala Network, which empowered 150 women with leadership and civic engagement skills. By working together, we strive to create a brighter future for Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations.
